The study of the SCALA language will familiarize the student with the basic concepts of structured programming: variables, controls, data structures and functions; and object-oriented programming: classes, objects, methods and their application to the analysis and development of simple applications.
Beyond the programming language studied, students will learn how to approach a problem, define an algorithm and program it.
