The aim of this course is to provide a comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of basic and advanced immunology. It is appropriate both for beginners and for students with prior knowledge in immunology. The course is based on the well-known textbook “Cellular and Molecular Immunology” by Abul Abbas et al. In each session, a course participant will present a chapter of the book and lead a short discussion. Experts in the different fields will be invited to supervise the discussion and to provide additional insights.

The course is divided into two modules:

Module 1: Basic Immunology introduces innate and adaptive immunity and the mechanisms of the humoral and cellular responses. It consist of 12 sessions from January to June 2021 (see next page for program).
