Description
The objectives of this course are to get students in pharmaceutical/biomedical/medical research programs familiar with the following subjects:
- Cellular and experimental immunotherapies: What are they? What is their future?
- Adoptive T cell therapy and Cancer Vaccines in Oncology
- The regulatory path of taking cellular therapies from basic laboratories to patients’ bedside
- The analytical immunemonitoring path of taking cellular theapies from bedside back to labs
Objectifs
The learning objectives for this course are to:
- acquire a scientific understanding of cellular immunotherapies – What is a living drug?
- develop basic understanding on translational research early and late clinical development that touch on cellular immunotherapies.
- develop basic understanding on the future role of health care professionals especially pharmacists in cellular immunotherapies.
Modalités pédagogiques
The course will consist of lectures in class presence, e-learning, case-based discussions on immunotherapy, literature group presentations
