The objective of this online Course is to provide participants with a comprehensive and interactive knowledge base that will complement all of the topics covered within the other modules. In completing this module, participants will specifically receive training on integrating and addressing unknown or unintended consequences of human development that has impacted socio-economic elements of sustainable development. There are three main themes within this module that look the current framework of sustainable development through:
1) The Role of Business Fundamentals
2) Population Transitions
3) Sustainability-Driven Innovation in Business
Each theme will be integrated over the course of 6 weeks, composed of the following tools: online lectures, discussion forums, interactive quizzes, academic articles and one-on-one mentoring with distinguished academics at the end of each week to digest and reflect on the material. By the end of this module, participants will be able to assess various complex situations and identify underlying risks/complexities and begin to develop solutions.
