This course explores how artificial intelligence (AI) can transform global health. Regardless of prior technical or programming experience, students will gain a foundational understanding of AI concepts, including machine learning and deep learning. We will delve into the diverse applications of AI and other digital solutions in healthcare delivery, public health initiatives, and medical research. Critically, we will examine the ethical implications of AI implementation in global health, with a particular emphasis on ensuring equitable access and benefits for low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
