In today's corporate world in which intangible assets play a key role, the management of IP right is of utmost importance. The workshop IP Management Strategies & Practice (IPMSP) (which is an « atelier » within the meaning of art. 11 of the « Règlement d'études de la Faculté de droit » offers to the students the opportunity to work in group projects in a hands-on approach and to explore selected facets of IP management strategies in a diversity of settings and industries.
IPMSP is organized jointly by Prof. Irene Calboli (academic fellow at the Faculty of Law / Digital Law Center) and by Prof. Jacques de Werra (Faculty of Law) with the assistance of Mrs Marion Consoli, teaching and research assistant at the Faculty of Law.
Students interested in participating to IPMSP are invited to apply by e-mail at the latest by September 23, 2024 to the following address : marion.consoli@unige.ch (teaching and research assistant in charge of IPMSP). Applicants shall include their CV, University grades and shall briefly explain (within the email) the reasons of their interest in participating to this Workshop, as well as, indicating their actual level of knowledge of intellectual property (previous participation to IP courses/activities/experience).
This Workshop will not be sanctioned by an exam and a grade, but rather with a mention of success based on an active participation to all the activities organized (including group projects).
The applications will be reviewed on a rolling first come first served basis ( knowing that the number of participants is limited) and the confirmation of participation to the selected students will be notified at the latest by Wednesday September 25, 2024.
Once your participation is confirmed, you will be able to access the moodle platform.
The first session of IPMSP will take place on Thursday September 26, 2024 at 12.15 pm in room 5050.
Nb: Fluent English is expected from participants
