Students read, present and discuss important classical papers describing significant breakthroughs in plant genetics and plant molecular biology.

Understand how different fields of plant biological research have developed and evolved. Exercise critical reading of the scientific literature. Understand experimental methods and the importance of technical innovations. Develop oral presentation skills.
