Giga Research Lab is a joint initiative of the University of Geneva and Giga - a global UNICEF and ITU partnership - committed to advancing digital inclusion by accelerating school connectivity worldwide. The Giga Research Lab’s primary mission is to bridge evidence and action to accelerate school connectivity and digital inclusion.
This microlearning series was designed to introduce the core dimensions of the digital divide in education and to build a shared understanding of why digital inclusion matters for learning, opportunity, and development. Through three short pilot modules, the series explores how connectivity, skills, and digital ecosystems shape educational outcomes and broader social and economic impacts, using evidence-based insights and accessible, self-paced learning to support reflection and informed action.
