Descriptif
A series of seminars in bacteriology where researchers from UNIGE present their recent work in the fields of bacteriology and infectious diseases. The seminars are held once a month, on Thursdays at 11:00 a.m., and last approximately one hour.
Attendance is mandatory at a minimum of 80%. A sign-in sheet will be available at each session to track participation. This requirement ensures that students are regularly exposed to recent scientific advances in the field.
At the end of the academic year, students will be asked to submit a short reflective text of approximately 200'250 words. In this text, they should discuss one seminar or research topic that particularly interested them, explain what they learned from it, and briefly reflect on how it relates to current challenges, methods, or future directions in bacteriology and infectious diseases.
At the end of the Master's program, students will have the opportunity to present their Master thesis work as part of the seminar series, in preparation for the final exam. Presenting pre-internship work is optional.
