This B.A 1 "Analysis of Text" course will take place during the Autumn semester on Wednesdays from 10-12 in Uni Mail 4393.
The "Analysis of text" (AT) class is designed to help students develop and refine their close-reading skills. It will also focus on improving students' academic writing by addressing the question: How do we translate textual analysis into effective academic writing? Therefore, students are expected not only to read the assigned material but also to bring in a few sentences of written work each week. Additionally, there will be two in-class tasks during the 3rd and 9th week of the semester. Further details of which will be provided closer to the date.
